Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission’s compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The article is not contradicted to mainstream Islamic teachings.
مقالے میں بنیادی اسلامی عقائدسے متصادم کوئی مواد موجود نہ ہو۔
- The submission is an original research work and has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
مقالہ اصلی تحقیقی وغیر مطبوعہ کاوش ہو نیز کسی اور جگہ اشاعت کے لیے زیر غور نہ ہو۔
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word format. Submission should include a provisional title both in English and Urdu. Each submission must be attached with an English abstract of approximately 200 words along with English translation of the title.
مقالہ مائیکروسافٹ ورڈ میں ہونا چاہیے۔ مقالے کا عنوان اردو اور انگریزی دونوں زبانوں میں شامل ہو۔مقالے کا کم و بیش ۲۰۰ الفاظ پر مشتمل انگریزی خلاصہ ساتھ بھیجنا ضروری ہے۔
- The article is in correct language without spelling mistakes and the verses of Quran and sayings of Prophet Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him are mentioned with full accuracy. 1. The standard transliteration of Islamic Studies must be observed in all English text in the articles. مقالہ معیاری زبان میں اور املا کی اغلاط سے پاک ہو نیز قرآن و حدیث کی نصوص کو ٹھیک ٹھیک نقل کیا گیا ہو۔ مقالے میں شامل غیر انگریزی اصطلاحات کے لئے ٹرانسلٹریشن کا طریقہ کار اختیار کیا جائے۔ جس کے لئے یہ جدول ملاحظہ کیا جائے۔
- The article is not plagiarized and where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
مقالے میں کسی قسم کا علمی سرقہ نہ ہو اور جہاں کہیں دستیابی ممکن ہو حوالہ جات میں (ویب سائیٹ کے لنک) مہیا کیے جائیں۔
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 14-point font; Jamil Noori Nastaliq font style. All illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end. The references are included in the footnotes as per Fikr-o Nazar’s format.
مقالے کے متن میں فاصلہ یک سطری، فونٹ کا سائز ۱۴ جبکہ فونٹ سٹائل جمیل نوری نستعلیق ہونا چاہیے۔ تمام نقشہ جات، خاکے اور فہرستیں متن کے اندر موزوں مقام پر دی جانی چاہیں، نہ کہ آخر میں۔ بھیجی جانے والی تحریروں میں حوالہ جات کے سلسلے میں ”العلوم“ کے طرز کو اختیار کیا جانا چاہیے۔
