Qur’anic Commentary Points of Khawaja Nizamuddin Aoliyā: An Analytical Study

Abstract

The Almighty Allah designed the system of universe in a manner that made human intellect amazed. The whole terrestrial affairs are somehow connected to Manhood like natural beauty of this planet amusing the humanity. Similarly, the creator also flourishes the system of universe by prophethood especially with the last revelation for inner beauty of soul and its thirst for right path. After his last messenger and divine text, it was felt necessary to explain hadiths and the Qur'an to the people who came later. The Companions and successors of the prophet did this task perfectly. Later on, some scholars and Sufis carried forward this goal. Keeping in view this background and by qualitative analysis of thorough Sufi literature, this paper explores one of renowned sufi personality whose keen interest was serving mankind had righteous way of preaching Islam named as “Khawaja Nizammuddiin Auliyā”. This short piece of writing focuses on his expertise for “Tafsīr-e Qur’an”. This essay is helpful for breaking the myth that Sufis were unaware about Shariah knowledge and their ultimate task is rushing towards jungle for special Ibadah. Khwaja Nizamuddiin Auliyā (R.A) explained many verses of Qur’an in light of sunnah and hadith and gave it a meaningful spiritual essence. This Article pays high tribute to his Services for divinity that gave everyone a chance to learn and acquire knowledge.
