Abstract

This research paper presents an in-depth analysis of the contemporary usage of inference from Islamic law literature, specifically in the context of its economic applications. The study explores the various methods of inference commonly used in Islamic law literature and their relevance to economic scholarship. To illustrate the importance of Islamic law in addressing contemporary economic issues, the current research presents the methodologies of three prominent Islamic jurists. This paper emphasizes that fiqhi literature covers a wide range of topics relevant to modern economics, including trade, finance, and taxation. Moreover, this article highlights the potential of Islamic law literature to provide practical solutions to economic problems and serves as a source of ethical principles and values. Finally, a review of these scholarly reported documents has the potential to draw attention towards recommendations that suggest a focus on conducting research and developing solutions that align with Islamic principles in various areas including finance and economy. This research concludes that the significance of understanding the historical background and context of Islamic law literature in effectively applying it to contemporary economic issues.
