One of the most prominent factors that contributed to uniting Muslims, consolidating their ranks, and removing this hostility among them was the Prophet's establishment of brotherhood between the Muhājirīn (Emigrants) and the Anṣār (Helpers). The research problem aims to answer the question that how did the Makkan and Madinan societies get affected by this brotherhood with benefit from the treasures of our ancient heritage to address the miseries of our present time? This research highlights the profound impact of this brotherhood in eliminating tribal fanaticism (asabiyya) and how the Prophet (peace be upon him) established manifestations of solidarity, cooperation, and cohesion among Muslims in a single society, regardless of their different origins and customs and how the noble Sharia encouraged the meaning of brotherhood for the sake of Allah and firmly established it among the believers, making this bond a strong means to unite Muslims and unify their word, and making religious brotherhood stronger than kinship ties. The method followed in the research is historical retrieval by presenting the events of brotherhood among Muslims with an indication of the time and place, and the deductive along with the analytical explanatory method by mentioning the hadiths and verses that encouraged brotherhood and the unity of Muslims and explaining them.</p> 2024-12-31T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Al-‘Ulūm Journal of Islamic Studies
